Since its inception in 1995, Trak Recruiting has built extensive relationships with many of Australia’s major and most significant retailers and the executive teams that lead them. To be an authority in retail recruitment we recognise the need to understand the industry and actually be a contributing part of it. We are for example, the only recruitment firm to advertise senior positions every day on Inside Retailing - an electronic newsletter that reaches 35,000 readers. We actively participate in retail discussion groups and provide input to academic qualifications & programs that focus on retail.

As a regular participant in the Westfield Retail Global Study Tour, we are abreast of retail trends and retail practices internationally and have links with overseas retail companies and candidates. We also work with the Australian Retailers Association and have written articles and spoken at key retail conferences and events.
